Something simple and quiet is good for a first date. I don't believe in going to a bar on the first one, maybe a few down the road but the point is to get to know each other... Dinner and a movie works but you can't talk during a movie! :-P I would say a nice dinner, then a walk along the beach under the stars...I love looking up at the sky at night
