Hola :-),
I am a gentleman, even though it is a dying breed. I am an optimistic realist, I tend to see the good in everyone and everything. I try not to get to concerned with the big stuff and keep it in perspective, and pay attention to the little things as these seem to mean the most to people.

I'm down to earth, a great sense of humour and make people around me happy. I always wanted to be a stand up comedian but I was scared that people would laugh at me ;-)

Some days I have facial hair, some days I don't. It all depends what I feel like when I get up in the morning :-)

I haven't been camping, much rather have a comfy bed, air conditioning, restaurant with a good wine list and most importantly, a shower. Though I do like being in the outdoors..... have lived in the country and spent 3 months working on my sisters dairy farm, very relaxing and developed a great sidestep when it comes to cow poo! But I don't own a 4wd and probably never will. I have a fishing rod somewhere as my daughter went through a fishing phase. If I go fishing I tend not to use bait. Fish are lovely in the ocean, and it is not up to me to take them from their natural environment.

I don't follow any sporting code! I am happy to go to sporting events and enjoy the social experience and have a beer and pie. I don't watch sport on TV, would rather read a book or get outside and do something.


I have traveled overseas and I am a great travel buddy. I love to explore new things.

I am on this site because I would like to meet a woman I really enjoy being with but I feel that it is unlikely I will meet them out somewhere. I have realised that I have such a great life ahead of me as it is, but it would be even more complete with a partner that I love to be with.

I am a professional in the area of healthcare.
As such, if you are a racist, alcoholic/drug user or a homophobe then I would not like to hear from you.


I am happy, honest, totally irreverent. A deep thinker who can daydream and I smile and laugh ...a lot. I am confident in who I am and what I want out of life, and I also have a conscience.

I LOVE good fresh coffee, nice dining experiences, going to wineries and trying new wines, going out for cocktails and listening to live music. I exercise when I can and prefer to do exercise that has a purpose, like walking or riding outside, tennis.

I am looking forward to reclaiming a social life after finishing studying my Masters.


I like music that isn't mainstream;

Ida Maria, The Clash, The Jam, Something for Kate, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Garbage, Nick Cave, Billy Bragg,, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Sons and Daughters, Interpol, The Cure, Faker, Future Kings of Spain, Gnarles Barkley, the Hives, Jimmy Eat World...

As to movies..... I love old movies, foreign (especially Japanese and French movies) B grade and budget movies, anime, science fiction / fantasy and movies that keep you guessing like "Usual Suspects".

I am a voracious reader. I have many, many favourite authors and read most genres and styles (I will raid your library looking for new books).
