First of all, I am looking for a friend and maybe find an actual life partner who is open minded and patient enough to put up with my neurotic ramblings and pessimistic outlook on things: I am not just out for anonymous encounters, so don't feel compelled to get randy very quickly.

I am a real DiY and sustainability entheusiast, to the point that I can live on almost nothing, yet still manage to make the place and the food seem classy.

I've been set back for four years career and education wise due to family issues that which ended somewhat grimly a year and a half ago. Now I'm in a position where I can make up for my losses.

I am not some comic book charicature of a "real man", and I don't need you to be some bunny rabbit, either.
That said, I like to think that my interpretation of manhood complies with older traditions of the rugged individualist who's tenacity and ingenuity lead him to conquer adversity. For about a decade I've seen nothing but adversity and I'm still managing to not only still live but am gradually thriving.

If you're an actual human being with actual human desires to understand, and perhaps master the world around you, no matter how morbid and painful, and want a little bit of certitude yet eclecticism and personal development in a relationship, then go ahead.

Den idealiska första dejten för mig skulle vara att

After some time having gotten to know one another enough to feel confident, we meet at some nearby place (most likely downtown) where we walk around, eat at someplace nice but affordable (an authentic Chinese or Korean/Japanese restaurant would be a nice start) and then we lounge at a park for a while, maybe the Delaware River.

Afterwards (or perhaps failing that) I visit your place and we just sit back and just sort of goof around watching YouTube, playing video games or cooking something nice with ingredients that we got from some ethnic store (most likely Chinese).

If you have a garage you might let me do something there.

Jag har alltid velat prova

I have a desire to travel allot, would love to visit places like Hong Kong, Kazakhstan or Norway.

I would definitely love to learn to fly a cesna, or cruise around in a pontoon houseboat or travel the country in a little van-trailer.

I also would like to do something crazy like build a dirigible or a car or a very stylish laptop out of wood and other scraps (I love trampart).

Get some property by a mountain range and build an Earthship to live in; constructed with full sustainability and structural integrity.

If failing that I would like to get a trailer, or make a pontoon houseboat and live out in a lake or something, probably farm my own fish and seaweed in it and create an aquaponic greenhouse.

I would also like to change history if I can, and lead a few political movements. Or at best just contribute.

Det jag tycker är kul är

Mostly I just sit at home and READ. Most of my time really is spent on the internet just reading about news and all manner of trivia and curiosities.

History seems to be one of my most consistent obsessions, as well as DiY (particularly on sustainable living, survivalism and Linux) and metaphysical/philosophical/scientific/religious/political works (I tend to make no distinction between those categories, they are all the same to me).

I also like writing and making little media projects from time to time and photography.

Traveling is something I've been doing more lately also.

And finally, I am always trying to build something like a solar heater or oven, grow a vegetable garden (oh, and did I mention I love to cook XD).

Vad letar du efter?

I am mainly looking for someone who is sort of a cynical introvert and for the most part intellectual and geeky like me. So if you are the obsessive sort who dislikes being in the crowd then it can definitely work.

She has a dark, irreverent, or absurdest sense of humor and is very patient, and inside at least rather warm.

I tend towards the tomboyish: Short hair (with bangs or wave), button downs or polos, and dark colors.
Doesn't need much of a chest either, and pre-ops, cathoeys and CDs are very acceptable (in fact, this would be preferred). I still would like someone with a cute face with all the feminine facial proportions and a pear-shaped figure, though.

Prefer someone who is Mongoloid, Caucasoid, though I can make exceptions.
